I was referred to Dr Hyer after my 6 month old had dropped 4 percentiles since his birth weight. He is generally a very happy little baby who is eating lots and is sleeping through the night so I have secretly not been too worried, but the Health Visitors have always been very concerned for his health and he was labelled as 'failure to thrive' at the GP. Dr Hyer listened to my whole story and actually asked the question that no one else has asked: 'do you think your child is ill?' 'No' was my answer and I was right - he is a perfectly healthy little boy who was just finding his centile and Dr Hyer's advice was to not get him weighed! As a first time mother, it was great to see someone so confident and assured of his diagnosis as all the Health Visitors and GPs are 'never quite sure' if there is something wrong. Thanks Dr Hyer - I am now off to enjoy my little boy and stop worrying about his weight!

We took our daughter to see Dr. Hyer at eight weeks old as she had been acutely unwell since birth. I sought the advise of our GP who prescribed anti sickness ans antiacids for her. Unfortunately Matilda contined to vomit copious amounts, would not take her feeds, and was not putting on weight. Matilda seemed to be in constant pain, screaming night and day. We were desperate to help her, I had heard of Dr. Hyer and made an appointment. His secretary Maddie was extremely helpful and arranged an emergency appointment for her two days after I had contacted her. We made the long journey across London, hoping that a diagnosis was soon to be made. Dr. Hyer was fantastic, he diagnosed our daughter immediately with CMPA and prescribed the formula that was needed. I cannot tell you the difference it has made to her life (and ours). Matilda is a different child, she is happy, well and getting fat I'm very happy to say.Her complexion is rosy instead of pallid, and she smiles! Dr. Hyer at all times was confident, helpful, kind and he diagnosed our daughter in an instant. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr.Hyer, and will be eternally grateful for truly changing Matilda's life.

Dr Hyer was very friendly especially to my son who was the patient. We saw him today at Clementine Churchill for food allergy test. He was really helpful and has a great understanding of this area and within a short time was able to find out my son's problem. I totally recommend this Doctor!

My 11 year old son's GP referred us to Dr Hyer as he was experiencing concerning stomach problems. From the onset Dr Hyer was very friendly, knowledgable, reassuring and extremely accommodating. He diagnosed my son within the 1st consultation but was very thorough in assuring that my son received further checks to ensure that the correct medication could be prescribed. You are in safe hands with Dr Hyer, he is great!

Dr Hyer was very reassuring and told me all I needed to know and asked about. He was also funny and this provided a sometimes much-needed lightness to the consultation. I felt less nervous in his care than I would have done without him or with a more serious and non-personal doctor. Anyone in his care is always going to get the best treatment possible.
